We're looking for an Employment and Skills Coach to help residents build confidence, develop skills, and access meaningful employment opportunities.
Based at our Greenham office, working hybrid with a minimum of two days a week working in the office/out in the community.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport is essential as travel throughout the region may be required.
The Role:
You'll work directly with residents to understand their needs, aspirations, and barriers. Through a blend of digital, phone, and face-to-face support, you'll guide them toward training, work placements, and sustainable employment. You'll collaborate with local partners, community organisations, and internal teams to create opportunities that support long-term progression. You'll be responsible for:
* Delivering tailored advice, guidance, and coaching
* Creating personalised action plans and managing a varied caseload.
* Providing in-work support to help residents sustain employment and continue developing.
* Contributing to externally funded programmes, local initiatives, and partnership-based community projects.
* Maintaining accurate records, track outcomes, and ensure services meet SNG's standards.
What you'll bring:
* Experience delivering professional advice, guidance, or employment support using a coaching approach.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of people.
* A genuine passion for helping customers achieve their goals and thrive.
* (Desirable) A Level 4 qualification in Advice & Guidance or willingness to work towards one.
* (Desirable) Understanding of data quality monitoring and reconciliation methods.
A basic DBS check will also be undertaken for the successful candidate.
