Job Purpose:
The Business Partner should "challenge & own" by being an active member of the business team's influencing decision-making by driving performance management discussions and taking ownership and responsibility for decisions. The Finance Business Partner should drive the Business P&L, with financial analysis and planning being the core job of this profile.
Responsibilities:
* Primary responsibility for finance business partnering with Commercial stakeholders.
* Gaining and maintaining a deep understanding of strategic aims and the Operations to ensure provision of best in class finance support.
* Lead discussions on savings, efficiency, pricing for the business.
* Undertake competition benchmarking and provide valuable insights to relevant stakeholders.
* Leading monthly financial reviews with stakeholders and providing decision making support to Finance Manager.
* Partner with Finance Manager to facilitate managing and achieving the financial targets and objectives.
* Leading the finalisation of the budget process to be in line with financial strategic direction of the Company.
* Coordinate with relevant members to initiate changes to existing financial flows, document the same & incorporate the same with intent to ensure standardisation across the group.
* Providing analytical support & insight on Operations Performance to both Operations & Finance.
* Using excellent organisational and planning capabilities to ensure internal & external deadlines are adhered to.
* Establish effective internal controls within the business and deliver an adequate overall level of internal control.
* Coordinate the statutory accounting submissions and Board papers.
* Ensure compliance with UK finance laws, regulations, and legislation, including but not limited to:
-UK GAAP / IFRS reporti
ng standards
-HMRC tax and VAT requirements
-Anti-money laundering (AML) and anti-bribery legislation
-Company law obligations under the Companies Act
-Data protection and financial governance requirements
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
* Excellent overall IT experience in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written and the ability to communicate with people at all levels within the organisation.
* Strong Financial Modelling
* Can work on own initiative and as part of a team.
* Good multitasking and organisational skills.
* Strong Interpersonal skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines.
Education:
ACA, ACCA, and/or CIMA qualified
Hours:
Monday - Friday
9am-5:30pm
