Born out of the partnership between Electrical Safety First and the Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA), Certsure LLP is dedicated to providing professional services and certification to a wide range of customers across the building services sector.
Delivered via the NICEIC brand, its products and services are Government-recognised and United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) approved.
About the role.
Certsure is actively seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to assume the pivotal role of Head of Delivery and Operations. As an integral part of the operational leadership team, you will be at the forefront of driving the growth and success of the education and training offer.
Your will lead the expansion of our product offerings, using meticulous strategic analysis, and leveraging market insights to identify and capitalise on emerging opportunities. Collaborating closely with various departments, you will develop a culture of teamwork and innovation, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment towards our overarching goals.
With a keen eye on commercial objectives, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality experiences for our valued clientele. This entails not only meeting but exceeding customer expectations, by harnessing digital innovations and pioneering new approaches to learning and development. Your ability to navigate the evolving landscape of education and training will be crucial, as you guide Certsure towards sustainable growth and competitive advantage in the market.
As a core member of our operational leadership team, you will occupy a central position in translating our strategic vision into actionable plans. Advocating for our core principles of Technical Integrity, Customer Centricity, Simplification, Digital First and Collaboration, you will set the tone for operational excellence across the organisation. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the organisational structure, driving cultural transformation, and ensuring a dynamic and supportive work environment.
Who we are looking for.
The ideal candidate will be a highly educated individual with a degree or equivalent experience in a commercial training business. We seek someone who can demonstrate a strong commitment to Continuing Professional Development and who holds full membership in a relevant professional body.
Additionally, you will have a high degree of commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial spirit, capable of driving the growth and profitability of the education and training proposition. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in creating and executing commercial strategies within the education sector, coupled with the ability to inspire and engage teams to deliver exceptional business performance.
You will possess strong financial management skills, having managed sizeable budgets, and will be adept at leading organisational transformation towards digital-first operations.

While prior experience in technical markets and knowledge of CRM systems and sustainability initiatives are desirable, a passion for driving positive change and delivering value to our stakeholders is essential.

Quality is the foundation of everything at Certsure and training for all 340 employees, split into six cross-functional teams, is crucial to its ongoing success.
The organisation runs two formal leadership and management programmes with the first aimed at broadening leadership perspective, understanding the business and driving collaboration. The second is designed to develop the skills of mostly non-management employees in improving business performance through an apprenticeship programme.
Project managers are coached throughout their assignments to improve their skillsets and all business improvement teams are coached by an expert in business improvement techniques.
