Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Marketing Assistant located in Ware The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for managing the commercial relationship with industry suppliers, supporting membership initiatives, and assisting with sales and marketing strategies. The role involves working with the Craft Bakers Association industry supporters, executing marketing campaigns and managing their membership packages. The role will also provide support to the Marketing and Communications Administrator to ensure activities are delivered smoothly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Industry Supporter Relationship Management
* Attend supporter meetings and assist with onboarding new industry supporters
* Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with supporter contacts
* Act as a key point of contact, responding to emails and queries
* Coordinate marketing opportunities in line with each supporter's purchased package
* Keep internal records updated with contact details, activity logs, and deadlines
Marketing Package Delivery
* Schedule and manage marketing content across channels:
* Email campaigns via Mailchimp
* Social media content via Hootsuite
* Website updates (logos, links, blurbs, categories)
* SMS/text messages (as applicable)
* Ensure welcome posts, listings, and all entitlements are fulfilled accurately and on time
* Gather supporter-provided assets (graphics, logos, etc.) and ensure they meet brand guidelines
Reporting & Campaign Feedback
* Track performance of marketing activity
* Prepare simple reports for each supporter after key activity (e.g. mailshots, surveys, posts), including:
* Open/click rates
* Engagement metrics
* Survey response summaries
* Summarise outcomes via clear, professional emails and flag follow-up opportunities
General Marketing Support
* Support the Marketing & Communications Coordinator with ad-hoc marketing admin
* Help maintain a clear delivery calendar and supporter tracking system
* Contribute to CBA-wide marketing campaigns where needed (e.g. event promotions, newsletters)
* Attend CBA Annual Business Day and assist in the organisation of the event.

* Ability to work both independently and in a small team setting
* Qualification in Marketing, Business, or related field

Pay: £24,420.00-£29,000.00 per year
