Role Overview
Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a Net Zero Strategy Manager. This is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on customers, communities and colleagues, in line with our commitment to net zero and sustainability targets.
We're looking for someone with a passion for making a difference, who will drive change and lead the delivery of decarbonisation approaches across existing properties, new home developments, and our business activities.
This is a roam role, so you'll work mainly from home and at least one day a week from our fantastic office at Hudson Quay in Middlesbrough. We'll need you to be flexible around business and team need, so you may need to come into the office more frequently when required.

Key Responsibilities
As our expert in net zero technology, you'll lead on identifying, assessing and delivering net zero approaches.
Using your knowledge of emerging renewables technology, you'll conduct financial feasibility studies and retrofit projects to deliver decarbonisation solutions for our customers.
Develop partnership opportunities to enhance funding opportunities to successfully implement decarbonisation initiatives and stock sustainability programmes.
Coordinate renewable technology maintenance programmes and develop maintenance schedules for installed renewable technologies across our asset portfolio.
Manage the renewables and energy efficiency budgets, whilst supporting the implementation of energy efficiency measures across housing stock.
About You
With passion and expertise in net zero technology and decarbonisation approaches, you'll have experience managing large-scale net zero funding through DESNZ, WH:SHF, ECO, and RHI programmes.
You'll hold a PAS 2035 retrofit coordinator certification
An in-depth understanding of current and emerging renewable energy systems and energy efficiency technologies. You'll also have a comprehensive knowledge of utility network systems.
A track record of successfully delivering net zero retrofit programmes, including scoping, funding, and reporting.
Managing a specialist team of two, you'll be a supportive manager, passionate about driving change and service excellence
An excellent communicator and collaborator, skilled in positively influencing and negotiating with stakeholders, customers and colleagues.
Confident in delivering presentations and writing technical reports.
