An established and award-winning provider of Audio Visual solutions is looking for an AV Technical Project Manager. Based in Bristol, this is an excellent opportunity to join a highly reputable organisation with over 45 years of experience delivering high-quality AV installations across the education, corporate, and public sectors.
Along with a salary of up to £38,000 per annum, you will also receive a potential bonus of approximately £8,000 per year, a car allowance and mileage reimbursement, a workplace pension scheme, a laptop and mobile phone, comprehensive training and ongoing professional development opportunities.
What Youll Be Doing As AV Technical Project Manager
You will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of AV installation projects. You will work closely with the Exeter-based sales administration team and other internal stakeholders to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Designing AV systems and specifying appropriate technologies and products
* Producing technical drawings, schematics, and documentation for tender submissions
* Preparing and managing scope, timelines, schedules, and handover documentation
* Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and main contractors throughout the lifecycle
* Overseeing multiple sites and coordinating teams of installation operatives
What were looking for in an AV Technical Project Manager:
You will ideally be a technically proficient professional with previous experience in the sector. This role may also suit a Senior AV Installation Engineer with project oversight experience and a desire to transition into project management.
Requirements
* Strong understanding of AV technologies and system design
* Experience in creating schematics and using tools such as MS Office, Visio, and AutoCAD LT (training will be provided if necessary)
* High attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams
* Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet tight deadlines
* Industry certifications (e.g. AVIXA CTS, CTS-I, CTS-D, CEDIA) or related academic qualifications are advantageous
