Working Location: Darwen based with travel to customer sites.
Salary: £50,000 Negotiable DOE
Hours of Work:
Week 1: Mon – Fri : 8am – 5pm.
Week 2: Mon – Thurs : 8am – 5pm. Fri: 8am – 2pm.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce accurate cost estimates from technical drawings
* Create labour/material costings and routing information
* Liaise with suppliers and manage sub-contract requirements
* Prepare and input full quotations for customers
* Handle enquiries, provide technical support, and resolve queries
* Work closely with internal teams to keep projects on track
What We’re Looking For
* Time-served/shop floor experience in fabrication or engineering
* Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and RFQs
* Confident discussing technical requirements / solutions with customers both face to face and over the phone.
* Experience in estimating, technical sales, or account management.
* Previously achieved circa 1 million in direct sales per year.
* Ideally experienced mentoring or managing a small team of estimators
