Your Journey as Head of AI Solutions
* Evaluate business processes, operational challenges and customer journeys to uncover high-impact AI opportunities
* Work with leaders across the business to shape and prioritise an AI roadmap aligned with our strategic goals
* Conduct feasibility assessments and ROI analysis to ensure we invest where AI delivers measurable value
* Stay ahead of emerging AI tools, platforms and partner capabilities to recommend future-fit solutions
* Act as the solution architect for AI programmes, ensuring chosen tools meet business, technical and governance requirements
* Collaborate with AI engineers, internal technology teams and external partners to guide design and deployment
* Oversee project timelines, delivery milestones and stakeholder communications from idea to implementation
* Monitor performance of deployed solutions and recommend ongoing enhancements, ensuring continuous optimisation
* Champion AI across Lithia UK – promoting awareness, encouraging adoption and helping teams understand how AI can support their goals
* Present compelling business cases to senior leaders to secure investment and support
* Provide training, guidance and practical advice to help teams use AI tools confidently and responsibly
* Ensure all AI activity is compliant with company governance, policies and ethical standards
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in AI strategy, solution design or technology consulting – ideally within a complex, multi-site organisation
* A strong understanding of AI concepts (machine learning, NLP, generative AI, automation) and real‑world applications
* Experience evaluating and selecting AI tools, platforms and vendors
* A strategic mindset, with the ability to translate challenges into clear, compelling AI use cases
* Confidence working with and influencing senior stakeholders using insight, data and logical reasoning
* Excellent communication skills – able to make AI understandable, engaging and relevant to different audiences
* Strong project management capability, with a track record of delivering transformation programmes
* Working knowledge of AI platforms such as Azure Machine Learning, OpenAI, Hugging Face or similar tools
* An understanding of AI ethics, governance and responsible deployment
* A proactive approach to staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies
