Pay Rate: £44,990 + Any Shift Premium + Any Overtime

Shift patterns: 3 on 3 off, Rotating Days and NightsShift times: 0545 - 1815 and 1745 - 0615
Location: Stoke-On-Trent (ST4 4EX)
DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Shift Engineer to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
* Ensure all items of plant operate effeciently and safely through proactive and reactive maintenance
* Provide support and engineering expertise to the site operation through implementation of proactive planned preventative maintenance
* Carry out all engineering disciplines using best Health and Safety and engineering practices
* All plant is maintained in accordance with the approved maintenance schedules and training provided
* Provide a flexible approach and service to the operation to ensure that the sites targets are achieved. Provide support to second fixers where required
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

* A minimum of City and Guilds or BTEC ONC in Mechanical / NVQ level 3 Mechanical Engineering
* Previous engineering experience
* Operationally be able to prioritise workload and tasks to maximise efficient operations
* Work in a pressurised environment ensuring all targets are constantly being monitored in order to be achieved
* Adapt to an everchanging environment and have a dynamic approach to process change
