Role Description
This is a full-time, on‑site role located in Craig, CO, for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). The COTA will collaborate with occupational therapists to provide hands‑on therapy sessions, assist with patient treatment plans, and track progress toward rehabilitation goals. Responsibilities include delivering patient care, supporting rehabilitation programs, aiding in program development, and contributing to the overall well‑being of patients. The role also involves working closely with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of care.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation techniques, including assisting in therapy plans and implementing interventions.
* Strong skills in Patient Care with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and supporting recovery journeys.
* Experience in Program Development to support and contribute to innovative, person‑centered therapy solutions.
* Familiarity with Home Care services to support patients transitioning from on‑site care to home settings, when required.
* Active state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
* Prior experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is preferred but not required.
