Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to oversee and drive various projects within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in managing teams and delivering projects on time and within budget. This role requires a deep understanding of project management methodologies, including both Agile (SAFe) and Waterfall approaches, as well as proficiency in project management software.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage project teams to ensure successful delivery of projects from initiation to closure.
* Conduct requirements gathering sessions to define project scope and objectives.
* Utilise root cause analysis to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
* Oversee cost control measures to maintain project budgets.
* Develop detailed project plans using tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet.
* Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
* Manage time effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
* Facilitate communication across teams using platforms like Confluence, SharePoint, or Jira.
* Prepare presentations for stakeholders to communicate project progress and outcomes.
* Conduct data analysis to inform decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure adherence to organisational policies and best practices in project management.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in supervising teams and managing projects in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members towards achieving goals.
* Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Proficiency in ERP systems such as Workday or Salesforce is advantageous.
* Familiarity with content management systems is beneficial.
* Experience with project management software including Basecamp, Project Server, or Visio is preferred.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively for strategic planning.
* Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective stakeholder engagement.
