Tina@riadaresourcing.com Catering Supervisor - Causeway Hospital (Coleraine) An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Catering Supervisor to join a busy and well‑established catering service in the Coleraine area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading a team, maintaining high food standards, and working in a structured, fast‑paced environment. About this role:
1. £14.06 - £22.09 per hour depending on shift worked
2. 30 hours per week
3. Shift Pattern includes but not limited to: 7.00am – 1.30pm & 10.00am – 5.00pm
4. Temporary role
What you'll be doing in this role:
5. Supervise and support catering staff during daily food preparation and service.
6. Organise staff rotas and allocate duties to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
7. Prepare, cook and present meals in line with set menus, portion controls, and dietary requirements.
8. Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP regulations at all times.
9. Maintain high standards of cleanliness across kitchen, catering and service areas.
10. Monitor food quality, presentation and temperature control.
11. Assist with stock control, ordering, and checking deliveries.
12. Ensure allergen information and special diets (including dysphagia) are followed correctly.
What you'll need for this role:
13. NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation or equivalent.
14. Food Safety Level 2
15. COSHH
16. Fire Safety
17. Manual Handling
18. Food Allergens
19. Managed / supervised in a kitchen setting
20. Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
21. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
