BBC Creative are looking for a senior creative planner, with creative agency experience, to be part of our planning team. BBC Creative is the BBC’s in-house creative agency. It has a simple ambition: to produce the most creative marketing in the World for the most creative media brand in the World. We want to make work that is talked about and leaves a positive mark on popular culture. This role is an opportunity to be a key part of shaping what we do and create at BBC Creative.

Main Responsibilities
* To be part of a team helping to make sure we’re raising the quality of the marketing the BBC does.
* You will be tasked with getting better, more insightful, more audience driven creative strategies that inspire the best creative campaigns and marketing possible.

* You will work alongside marketing, media planning and audience planning to create more strategic and more creative output
* You will inspire creative teams with insight and external stimulus to fuel the best creative solutions
Are you the right candidate
Experience as a planner within a creative agency.
Create high quality creative briefs, leading to effective/award winning creative solutions
Drive creative solutions – where appropriate – that engage audiences beyond TV; the ability to help shape comms plans that deliver campaign messages over time and across different platforms
Be an engaging - and persuasive - storyteller in how you present your thinking
Build strong relationships within BBC Creative, especially with CDs, and with Marketing & Media colleagues
Make effective use of audience insight, drawn from Audiences colleagues within the BBC
Work with colleagues to demonstrate effectiveness of campaigns – leading to awards and recognition
Key Relationships External: Agency providers, Strategic consultancies, Planning community, Speaking at conferences, Academics/universities, Government/DCMS as required. Internal: Controllers, Commissioners, Product heads, Exec producers and Editors, Genre/divisional directors, Head of Marketing, Directors of Marketing and Audiences, Heads of Audiences, Planners, Social Media Leads, Research and Analytics, Strategy, UXandD, RandD.
