Our client is an industry leading technology solutions provider delivering innovative workplace experience, immersive experience, digital distribution, and media production to a global clientele across a wide range of markets. They are embarking on a new ERP initiative to streamline their operations and enhance efficiency and they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to spearhead the strategy, alignment, and governance of sales in EMEA.
Role Description
The Director of Sales will play a pivotal role in leading the strategy, alignment, and governance of sales operations. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, IT, and other key stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration and optimisation of sales processes across our global entities.
Role Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, and inspire the UK sales team to deliver against ambitious revenue and growth targets.
* Develop and execute a clear sales strategy aligned with business objectives across the UK and wider EMEA region.
* Build, nurture, and expand relationships with key enterprise clients and strategic partners.
* Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, IT, Operations, Delivery) to ensure sales processes are streamlined and scalable.
* Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and regular reporting to senior leadership.
* Drive governance and consistency across sales activities, ensuring alignment with global policies and standards.
* Identify new market opportunities, trends, and client needs to inform go-to-market strategies.
* Represent the business externally at client meetings, industry events, and thought leadership forums.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven track record in senior sales leadership roles within technology solutions, workplace, or digital/immersive experiences sectors
* Strong experience in developing and executing sales strategies that deliver measurable growth.
* Demonstrated success in managing and motivating high-performing sales teams.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at C-suite level.
* Strong commercial acumen with experience in pipeline management, forecasting, and governance.
* Ability to work collaboratively across functions and geographies in a matrix environment.
* Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Willingness to travel within the UK and across EMEA as required.
Desirable Skills & Experience
* Experience of leading sales operations in an international or multi-entity environment.
* Knowledge of ERP systems or experience with sales transformation initiatives.
* Understanding of complex solution selling across multiple verticals.
* Established network within enterprise technology, media production, or workplace experience sectors.
