KS1 Supply Teacher
Location - Fareham
Contract – Full Time
Start date – January 2026
Enthusiastic and adaptable KS1 teachers are required for flexible supply opportunities across the Fareham area. We work closely with a range of welcoming primary schools, providing high-quality support to ensure pupils continue to receive engaging learning in the absence of their class teacher.
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Recent experience teaching in KS1 or primary settings
* A positive, calm and adaptable teaching style
* Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build quick rapport with pupils
* Reliability, professionalism and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting children’s learning
* Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across KS1
Your Key Responsibilities
* Delivering set lessons and maintaining pupil engagement
* Ensuring continuity of learning during staff absences
* Creating a positive, well-managed classroom environment
* Settling quickly into different schools and following their routines
* Supporting pupils’ progress, wellbeing and enjoyment throughout the day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
