Were looking for an exceptional Practice Manager to lead our friendly and forward-thinking team at Bersted Green Surgery, located in the vibrant seaside town of Bognor Regis. This is a part-time role, working between 25 and 30 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
As Practice Manager, you will:
* Provide overall leadership and strategic management of the practice.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and professional development.
* Support and manage the day-to-day operations of the surgery, ensuring compliance with CQC, NHS, and legal requirements.
* Lead on HR matters, including recruitment, performance management, and staff wellbeingsupported by our experienced Management Team.
* Oversee financial planning and budgeting to ensure long-term sustainability.
* Manage patient feedback and complaints constructively and compassionately.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with PCN colleagues, NHS bodies, and local stakeholders.
* Drive innovation and implement best practice to enhance patient care and staff efficiency.

Experience
* Experience of managing multidisciplinary teams
* Experience of working with the general public
* Experience of working in a healthcare setting
* Experience of performance management including appraisal writing, staff development and disciplinary procedures.
* Experience of successfully developing and implementing projects
* Experience of workforce planning, forecasting and development
* NHS/primary care general practice experience Relevant health and safety experience
Qualifications
* Good standard of education with excellent literacy and numeracy skills
* Educated to degree level or equivalent Leadership and/or management or HR qualification AMSPAR qualification
