Crowe Watson Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Southampton to recruit for an Audit Manager. The firm has an impressive client portfolio, ranging from owner-managed businesses to large corporate entities, and is known for its professional yet personable approach. As Audit Manager, you will be responsible for leading audit engagements from planning through to completion, managing a team, and maintaining strong client relationships. You’ll also work closely with Partners and Directors on a variety of complex and rewarding assignments, with excellent opportunities for progression.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage audit assignments from planning to completion
* Supervise, support, and review the work of junior team members
* Maintain and grow strong client relationships
* Ensure audits are completed in compliance with relevant standards and regulations
* Work with senior management to identify opportunities for process improvements

Requirements

* ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
* Must have a minimum of 4 years previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
* Strong knowledge of UK audit and accounting standards
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple projects
