Job Title: Project Planner Location: Teesside Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Benefits: Pension scheme, holiday allowance, career development opportunities Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday Job Description: We are seeking a Project Planner to support the delivery of critical projects across various sectors. The Project Planner will play a key role in determining project scope, creating work schedules, and estimating resources to ensure successful delivery. You will coordinate tasks, track project milestones, and maintain schedules to avoid delays. As a Project Planner, you will: * Prepare and maintain project schedules, report on project status, and attend customer meetings to review progress. * You’ll also support bid activity at RFQ stage by producing preliminary schedules and contribute to workload prioritisation. * This role requires collaboration across multiple disciplines to streamline workflows and minimise downtime. * The Project Planner position is customer-facing, requiring confidence in leading scheduling reviews and presenting detailed project plans. * You will also track performance indicators such as SPI and CPI, ensuring accuracy and accountability throughout project lifecycles. Skills & Experience: * Proven experience in project planning or scheduling environments * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project and Excel * Ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to change * Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills * Organised, approachable, and team-focused * Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent); APM PFQ desirable Why Should You Apply?
