Project Engineer Location: Manchester - 2 Home / 3 days in the office Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 Role Overview The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing the engineering delivery of multiple structural steelwork projects, ensuring all designs, drawings, calculations, and technical information are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role acts as the primary technical interface between Hare, clients, consultants, and internal teams, coordinating engineering activities across design, detailing, procurement, fabrication, and site through the full project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Project & Engineering Management Manage engineering programmes across multiple structural steel contracts. Coordinate engineering resources, drawing schedules, and deliverables in line with project programmes. Maintain cost awareness and support commercial control through efficient engineering delivery. Ensure all engineering outputs meet quality, programme, and contractual requirements. Client & Stakeholder Liaison Act as the main technical point of contact for clients, consulting engineers, and design teams.
