For the successful FLT Driver our client is offering;
£13.71 Per hour with £40 per week shift allowance when on nights
Monday to Friday 06:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM rotating weekly
Temporary to Permanent position
In house training for abnormal loads
Overtime opportunities available
The Role - FLT Driver
Loading finished goods onto vehicles
Storing of products into the correct location
Driving an Electric Forklift
Ensuring that products are being loaded onto Lorries in a set manner
Banding of products
Keeping the Factory/Yard clean and tidy
50% On the FLT / 50% Off the FLT and on the shop floor
Safety Checks
Checking paperwork
What our client is looking for in a FLT Driver;
Previous experience as a Counterbalance Driver- ESSENTIAL
Valid Counterbalance Licence - ESSENTIAL
Stable Work History - ESSENTIAL
Must be happy with heavy lifting- ESSENTIAL
Flexibility with working hours - Sometimes for example if you're loading a lorry then you'd be expected to finish doing this - ESSENTIAL
Previous experience lifting abnormal loads with FLT, as some of the products can be up to 7M - ESSENTIAL
Must have experience loading/ unloading flatbed trailers- ESSENTIAL
Must be happy to do picking, packing and dispatch, this is NOT just an FLT role - ESSENTIAL
