About the Role:
Venn Group’s specialist Public Sector Legal Division is proud to partner with a reputable Local Government Authority in Yorkshire in the recruitment of an Interim Caseworker to support their Mayoral Office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of local government and is available on an interim basis, with potential for a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide general administrative support to the Mayor, Delivery Lead Chief Executive, and the Mayoral Office
* Lead on specific work areas or projects on behalf of the Mayoral Office
* Manage and respond to Mayoral casework and public enquiries with professionalism and efficiency
* Analyse patterns in casework, prepare reports, and present findings to senior stakeholders
* Ensure all records and data are managed confidentially and in compliance with data protection legislation
* Support the coordination and follow-up of Mayoral meetings
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Strong administrative experience, ideally within the public sector or a political environment
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
