Job Overview
Marine Systems Technology are recruiting for an Engineering Administration Specialist due to ongoing business growth.
Reporting to the Engineering Coordinator, the Engineering Administrative Specialist is responsible for assisting, defining, maintaining and controlling the administrative and operational functions of the engineering department. The role requires excellent organisational and administrative skills preferably applied within a technical support environment.
Responsibilities include
* Develop and maintain engineering internal processes to ensure efficient operation of the engineering department and its output.
* Administer and maintain engineering documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance and effective control.
* Support the tracking of engineering deliverables and ensure budget adherence.
* Maintain the consistency of engineering output and ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
* Assist in the creation of non-technical engineering documentation that supports the project or internal deliveries.
* Demonstrate commitment to team success and actively contribute throughout all phases of the engineering project
Qualifications
* Proven office experience with a strong background in administrative roles ideally within engineering / technical capacity
* Proficient computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
* Excellent and proven report writing and presentation skills.
* Eperienced in implementing and administering departmental process and working practices.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
* We are ideally looking for engineering process / project co-ordination within a corporate / regulated environment.
Working hours are: Monday to Thursday (0730 – 1630, Friday 0730 – 1330 – flexibility in start/finish times). Based on site with hybrid option following probation.
