VP / Associate – Legal Counsel (4+ PQE) – Wealth Management

A prestigious global financial institution is seeking a transactional and regulatory lawyer to join its Wealth Management legal team, supporting its EMEA private banking division. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing legal function at a firm renowned for its sophisticated client base, innovative products, and global reach.
The Role
You will be advising the Wealth Management business on a broad range of lending and deposit products, including:
* Structuring and documenting securities-based loans, consumer loans, regulated mortgages, deposits, and more complex asset-backed and real estate financings.
* Providing regulatory advice on issues including consumer protection, licensing, e-money requirements, collateral enforceability, and security registration.
* Supporting regulatory implementation projects across the UK, EU, and Switzerland.
* Advising on new product launches, platform development, and business transformation initiatives.
About You
* UK-qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with a minimum of 4 years’ post-qualification experience.
* Solid grounding in transactional finance and/or financial services regulatory law.
* Experience advising on lending products or working in a private wealth or retail banking context would be advantageous.
* Strong commercial judgement, attention to detail, and confidence operating in a dynamic, cross-border environment.
