Job Title: Business Development Manager Department: Sales & Marketing Reports To: General Manager Location: Albrighton Hall Hotel & Spa, a member of Radisson Individuals. SY4 3AG Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Hotel Business Development Manager to lead the sales efforts and drive revenue growth through strategic planning and relationship building. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for exceeding targets. This role is key to attracting corporate, group, and leisure business to maximize occupancy and profitability. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to increase hotel occupancy and revenue across multiple market segments (corporate, group, leisure, and events). Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and other key partners. Proactively source and secure new business opportunities through networking, agent visits, sales visits, trade shows, and digital outreach. Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals that align with the hotel's revenue goals. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to adjust strategies accordingly. Collaborate with the marketing team to support promotional campaigns and increase brand awareness. Coordinate with operations, catering, and front office teams to ensure seamless delivery of group bookings and events. Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system and provide regular reports on performance metrics. Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets and contribute to the hotel’s overall business plan. Qualifications: 3 years of experience in hotel sales or a related hospitality sales role. Strong knowledge of hotel sales, operations and revenue management principles. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to travel locally and represent the hotel at industry events. Work Environment: Office-based with regular external client meetings and site visits. Some travel and after-hours work required to attend events and meet client needs. Why Join Us?
