RK Accountancy are partnering with a well established manufacturing client based in Blackburn. The successful candidate will ideally have some manufacturing/engineering sector experience & be happy to be fully office based in this role.
Duties & Responsibilities
You will be responsible to the Group Accountant.
Duties to include:
Maintaining sales and purchase Ledgers.
Bank Reconciliation, posting and balancing.
Posting Journals, accrual & prepayments.
Weekly Wages information to external bureau.
Reporting on Debtors & Creditors.
Quarterly VAT return prep
Balance sheet reconciliations
Person Specification:
AAT level 4 qualified or coming to the end of the qualification.
Would consider QBE
Experience with Sage50.
Experience with Microsoft office.
Flexible approach to work.
Proactive attitude to improving systems.
Hours - Monday- Thursday 8am - 4.30pm, Friday 8am -1pm
Holiday 25days plus 8 statutory days
Free on-sight parking.
100% office based.
