We are looking for an enthusiastic Activity Manager to lead and oversee our exciting range of activities at the Hailsham Leisure Centre.
In this role, you will take responsibility for the smooth operation of our Soft Play area and Bowling lanes, ensuring they are clean, safe and well maintained. You will liaise with contractors for servicing and repairs and make sure every space meets the highest standards. You will also manage party bookings from start to finish, working closely with catering and operations teams to deliver exceptional celebrations that keep families coming back.
You will also plan and deliver engaging age-appropriate activities for our Holiday Club, from arts and crafts to sports and group challenges. You will lead sessions, encourage participation and adapt activities to suit different ages and abilities, all while ensuring the safety and well-being of every child. Managing schedules, preparing materials, supervising staff and communicating clearly with parents and guardians will be key parts of your role.

Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday - Sunday (rota basis)
Requirements
* Experience working with children.
* Experience of managing a varied workload.
* Clerical and administrative experience.
* The skill to establish key relationships swiftly and appropriately.
* An ability to feed into and translate into action the centre’s strategy and objectives.
* An ability to analyse problems, situations and information, think laterally and present workable solutions.
* Well developed interpersonal skills, able to negotiate and persuade people both internally and externally
* Team orientated approach, able to work across organisation boundaries and demonstrate interest and be supportive of the work of colleagues
* Self Sufficiency, able to work in a team and on own.
* Highly organised with a good attention to detail.
* A qualification in childcare, early years, playwork or education (desirable).
