Job Overview
We are seeking an efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team in Selby. Pick, pack, store and load company products to ensure deliveries are both on time and in full. Support team wherever possible to ensure production runs smoothly and safely. Provide cover with other shifts for sickness / training. The shift pattern for this role is an average of 37.32 hours per week, on a rotating shift pattern consisting of mornings, afternoons and nights.
Duties
* Competent operation of the warehouse D365 WMS computer system.
* Transporting product from packing lines, carry out check on slip sheet positioning and pallet presentation, wrap, label and store in designated location using WMS.
* Loading of trailers
* Complete pick tasks to meet customer orders, communicating any issues to the Packer and Shift Manager
* Achieve, maintain & raise hygiene standards.
* Complete all required food safety and quality documentation.
* Carry out other tasks as requested by Packer, Shift Manager and/or Production Manager.
* Cover packing line operation as and when required
* Undertake maintenance activities as required
* Liaise closely with the Packing Operatives to achieve an efficiently run Packing Line and Warehouse
* Ensure that packing consumables and finished products are handled in accordance with company process standards
* Obtain flour samples and test them in accordance with site procedure
* Flour testing to ensure customers specifications are being adhered to
* Comply with all Health and Safety procedures and requirements
* Comply with all Food Safety procedures and requirements
* Comply with all Food Quality procedures and requirements
* Comply with all Customer Service procedures and requirements
Qualifications
* Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
* Manual handling trained
* Hand Truck training
* MEWP Licence (desirable)
* Food manufacturing and production processes
* Good organisational skills
* Computer literate
* Basic Food hygiene
* HACCP
* Understanding of Quality Management systems
* Flexibility
