Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 1.30pm - 3:00pm, 10 hours per week.

St Nicholas CE First School has a vacancy for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible.
This role is to work with a pupil and deliver the outcomes and provision within the EHCP. The pupil has specific complex needs as below:
· Communication and Interaction Needs
· Cognition and Learning Needs
· Toileting needs
. Complex sensory needs
This role will entail predominantly lone working with the pupil, exploring spaces such as sensory rooms and school grounds. Candidates who are interested must be self-motivated, resilient and able to adapt and create opportunities within the moment for a pupil who is currently self-led.

Applicants MUST
· have proven experience in supporting a pupil with complex SEND
· have good IT skills

· be positive and resilient characters
· be fit and able to deliver Speech and Language programmes and other programmes determined by professionals
· be happy to work on their own with the pupil as needed
· be able to work outdoors in all weathers as needed.
