Supporting the operations of a modern manufacturing facility, the role will include applying your technical skills to overcome problems. Finding solutions to make the production of pre-cast elements more efficient. This will involve managing projects and initiatives to support manufacturing operations.
Key deliverables and responsibilities:
* Learn how to turn technical ideas and requirements into real engineering designs and manufacturing solutions
* Support problem-solving activities to identify faults and help implement effective fixes
* Read and create technical documents such as drawings, CAD models, and engineering reports
* Collect and analyse data to help make accurate engineering decisions
* Assist with planning and delivering projects while considering safety, quality, cost, and sustainability
* Follow health, safety, environmental, and quality standards within a manufacturing environment
* Gain hands‑on experience using manufacturing processes, tools, and technologies
* Carry out equipment checks, help resolve faults, and support quality assurance activities
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using methods such as Lean and Six Sigma
* Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders while developing your skills, knowledge, and professional behaviours
