Estimator - Commercial Interiors, Fit-Out & RefurbishmentPermanent | Chesterfield£45,000-£55,000 + packageAre you an Estimator with experience in commercial interiors, office fit-out, or refurbishment projects?A well-established design-and-build contractor in Chesterfield is looking to appoint a detail-focused Estimator to support their growing project pipeline across the Midlands and South Yorkshire regions.This role sits within a collaborative pre-construction team and offers long-term stability, excellent progression, and the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of commercial interior projects.The RoleYou will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders, working closely with the design team, supply chain, and project management to cost a range of fit-out and refurbishment schemes. This is a key role for someone who enjoys variety, technical challenge, and ownership of the estimating process.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce detailed estimates for commercial interior design, fit-out and refurbishment projectsInterpret drawings, specifications, and project information to prepare competitive tendersManage enquiries and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotationsAssess project risks, constraints, and value-engineering opportunitiesWork closely with pre-construction, design, and commercial teamsPrepare BOQs, cost breakdowns, and final tender submissionsSupport the handover process to delivery teams following successful bidsMaintain accurate cost databases and supply-chain relationshipsAbout YouExperience as an Estimator within commercial interiors, fit-out, refurbishment, or general constructionStrong understanding of materials, subcontract packages, and construction methodologiesAbility to read technical drawings and interpret project specificationsConfident communicator with strong numeracy and analytical abilitiesAble to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneouslyProficient with estimating software / Excel and standard IT toolsWhat's on OfferSalary £45,000-£55,000, depending on experienceLong-term opportunity with a successful and growing design-and-build contractorModern office environment with a collaborative team cultureVaried project portfolio across commercial interiors, workplace, education, and refurbishment sectorsGenuine opportunities for development and progressionWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
