Coffee Engineer

They are ideally looking for an engineer based in the East London or Essex region, offering up to £38k basic depending on experience, with a 1‑in‑4 weekend rota. Responsibilities of the Coffee Engineer
Reporting to the Service Manager you will be in control of the installation, maintenance, service, and repairs of high‑end traditional and bean‑to‑cup coffee machines on various customer sites within your postcode area.
Managing your own work in progress, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately, attending regular training courses to maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of equipment, and being an active team player sustaining the companys prestigious reputation. You will be required to find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on a wide range of coffee equipment at customer sites.
Requirements of the Coffee Engineer
Experience with traditional espresso machines and bean‑to‑cup systems is essential
Strong electro‑mechanical background
Desired experience with one or more of the following brands: La Marzocco, Rancilio, Expobar, Wega, Fracino, Iberital, La Spaziale, Faema
IT literate and comfortable using modern technology
Full UK driving licenceCandidates from catering equipment, vending machines, white goods, or general electro‑mechanical backgrounds will also be considered.
