We’re recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded company delivering a brand-new style of housing across Somerset. With a diverse portfolio ranging from social housing schemes to bespoke high-end homes, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to technically interesting and varied projects.
As Assistant Site Manager, you will support the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of residential developments, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with the management of trades and subcontractors on site

Supporting programme delivery and coordinating works
*
Maintaining high standards of health & safety
*
Ensuring build quality and compliance with regulations
*
Supporting client-facing elements where required
*
Helping to drive a positive and productive site culture
About You
*
Proven experience within residential construction (volume or bespoke)
*
Strong technical understanding of housebuilding processes
*
Excellent organisational and communication skills
*
Proactive, driven, and keen to progress your career
*
Relevant site certifications (SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, First Aid desirable)
*
Degree qualified (desirable)
