About the team
Our Digital Engineering & Information Management team sits at the heart of our power station design programme, driving innovation in model‑based delivery and integrated data. We’re building cutting‑edge digital capability that underpins how the entire organisation collaborates, designs, and delivers.
Role Summary
In this context, we are looking for a Senior BIM Engineer, reporting to the Senior Information Manager, to help shape and deliver our integrated federated model for the Rolls‑Royce SMR power station. This role is central to embedding BIM excellence across the organisation and ensuring the seamless flow of trusted, high‑quality information.
We’ll Need You To
* Drive BIM coordination across all engineering disciplines, ensuring alignment and collaborative model development.
* Implement the BIM Execution Plan, maintaining standards, procedures, and workflows.
* Analyse model data, identify issues, and resolve complex technical challenges.
* Enhance our information management framework through continuous improvement.
Essential Skills / Qualifications
* A recognised qualification in a relevant engineering, architecture, or digital/BIM discipline, or equivalent proven industry experience.
* Experience delivering BIM in complex engineering environments and managing multidisciplinary model coordination.
* Strong knowledge of BIM standards, model governance, and common data environments, ideally including tools such as Revit, Navisworks, and IFC workflows.
Location
We offer hybrid working, with regular attendance expected at one of our offices: Derby, Manchester, or Warrington, depending on your chosen base location.
