Recruitment Consultant
Location: Higham Ferrers, Northamptonshire
Salary: £24,800 - £26,000 Pro Rata (DOE + Commission)
Employment Type: Part-time (Wednesday to Friday 8:30am-5pm)
About Us
Simon Acres Group Ltd is a specialist recruitment business operating across the KBB, construction, and interiors sectors. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a driven and commercially minded Recruitment Consultant to join our team in our Higham Ferrers office.
This role will work closely with one of our Directors in a job-share style structure, helping to manage an active recruitment desk and maintain momentum across the week.
About the Role
One of our Directors currently works Monday to Wednesday from our Tunbridge Wells office. The successful candidate will work Wednesday to Friday from our Higham Ferrers office, taking over the running of the desk towards the end of the week.
Wednesday will focus on handover, resourcing, collaboration and planning, with Thursday and Friday dedicated to managing the desk, progressing candidates and clients, and driving placements.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the sales side of recruitment, thrives on building relationships, and is confident picking up and running with opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing active recruitment processes for clients and candidates

Conducting candidate vetting calls
*
Business development and building relationships with new and existing clients
*
Managing the recruitment pipeline and keeping activity moving through the week
*
Updating and maintaining accurate records on the CRM system to ensure a seamless handover

Coordinating interviews and progressing offers
*
Working closely with the Director to ensure smooth handovers and desk continuity
* Sourcing new candidates
* Any additional tasks management feel are necessary for the continued success of the business
Requirements / Skills:

Previous recruitment experience is essential

Sales-driven and target motivated

Confident communicator who enjoys building relationships

Able to work independently and take ownership of a desk

Highly organised and able to manage multiple recruitment processes

Commercial mindset with a proactive approach
