We are currently recruiting an experienced and compassionate Female Healthcare Assistant to support a young client with complex care needs during night shifts. This is a rewarding role for someone with a genuine passion for providing high-quality care. You will work closely with the child's family and the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, person-centred care while supporting emotional well-being and development. Comprehensive in-house training and an induction programme will be provided, led by our Nurse Manager, to ensure you are fully equipped with the skills and knowledge required to deliver the highest standard of care. Responsibilities
* Provide care for a child with cerebral palsy and epilepsy.
* This child is non verbal, so understand non verbal cues.
* Observe and report health changes.
* Maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
* Provide one-to-one support to a child with complex care needs.
* Work closely with the Nurse Manager Team to provide quality care to a paediatric client.
* Commit to a regular working pattern and collaborate with Care Coordinators for effective care delivery.
* Build rapport with clients and families, working within the family home to achieve individual goals.
* Potential for growth and development into a supervisor or management role.
Shift Patterns
* Regular Thursday Night: 7:30pm - 7:30am
* Additional hours available on an ad‑hoc basis
Essential Skills and Knowledge
* Knowledge of infection control.
* Experience with epilepsy and administration of buccal, enteral feeding.
* Experience in paediatric complex care.
* Experience in delivering care to complex clients, preferably in the community.
* Experience in cerebral palsy and enteral feeding.
* Right to work in the UK.
* UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
* Compassion, confidence, and a gentle caring nature.

* Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
