Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Utilities / Maintenance Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a good knowledge of basic construction, plumbing and decorating tasks and the ability to perform a variety of maintenance and repair work. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and is committed to delivering a high standard of workmanship. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all repairs, decoration works and projects are completed efficiently.
Responsibilities
* Perform general maintenance and repairs on facilities, including basic plumbing, basic electrical, decoration and carpentry tasks.
* Supervise specific projects as required.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring they are safe to use.
* Read and interpret drawings to complete tasks accurately.
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing Management needs and concerns promptly.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all maintenance activities.
Skills
* Extensive knowledge related to building maintenance and repair.
* Proficient in basic electrical systems, plumbing, decoration and carpentry skills.
* Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
* Strong problem-solving abilities with logical reasoning skills.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken, for effective communication.
