Join a leading procurement division responsible for managing approximately £300 million in third-party spend each year. You will be part of a team that drives value-for-money andpliance across a broad range of categories, supporting all areas of the organisation. The division is structured into business partnering teams, with this role sitting in the Corporatemercial team, focused on consultancy, recruitment, legal, audit, benefits, pensions, and other corporate services.

Your new role As Procurement Manager, you will deliver a pipeline of procurement activity, collaborating with stakeholders and leading projects independently.

Key responsibilities include:
1. Developing procurement strategies and identifying routes to market
2. Supporting business areas in specification development
3. Producing tender documents and award criteria
4. Managing stakeholders and subject-matter experts throughout the procurement process
5. Administering tender periods and coordinating bidder briefings
6. Leading evaluation processes andmercial assessments
7. Drafting and finalising contracts, addressing risks and policies
8. Managing transitions from sourcing to contract management
9. Advising on strategic direction and analysing spend data, market insights, and supplier reports
10. Supportingernance,pliance, and risk management
11. Driving sustainability and best practice in supplier and contract management
12. Providing support to the wider sourcing team during peak activity

What you'll need to succeed
13. Proven experience managingplex procurement pipelines and deliveringmercial solutions
14. End-to-end sourcing experience for high-value orplex contracts
15. Public sector procurement experience, including knowledge of PCR2015 and the Procurement Act 2023
16. Strong stakeholder management andmunication skills
17. Knowledge of various routes-to-market and contract models
18. Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills
19. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
20. Attention to detail in documentation
21. Data analysis and presentation skills
22. MCIPS qualification (or working towards)

Desirable:
23. Experience with e-procurement systems
24. Corporate/Technology procurement experience and knowledge of industry standard contracts
25. Supplier and contract management expertise
