A well-established, Ofsted-rated 'Good' college in Greater Manchester is seeking a skilled Media Lecturer to join its dynamic Creative Media Department on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator to inspire and develop the next generation of media professionals.
The Role:
You will be delivering across a range of creative media subjects including filmmaking, video production, audio production, radio, and content creation. You will bring industry experience and up-to-date knowledge of professional practices into the classroom to support student learning and progression. Familiarity with BTEC Level 2/3 specifications is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging and industry-relevant lessons in creative media
2. Support learners through practical teaching and clear assessment
3. Keep curriculum content current with ongoing industry developments
4. Collaborate within a strong and experienced department
Ideal Candidate:
1. A degree in Creative Media or a related subject
2. Prior teaching experience in further education, especially BTEC Level 2/3
3. Strong background in commercial or educational media practice
4. Passionate about teaching and developing learners
