Optime Group is an award-winning aviation recruitment business supplying temporary staff to major airports and logistics hubs across the UK. We’re now looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our Head Office team in Crawley.
This is a detail-focused role where accuracy, organisation and clear communication are essential. You’ll support payroll delivery for a large, fast-moving workforce and play a key part in ensuring our people are paid correctly and on time.
What’s on offer
* Salary: £28,000 per annum
* Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm
* Crawley Head Office based
* 1 day per week working from home once probation is passed
* 30 days holiday including bank holidays, plus an extra day off for your birthday

What you’ll be doing
* Accurately collating and entering payroll data
* Supporting payroll runs and maintaining records
* Responding to payroll queries professionally and promptly
* Managing annual leave records and balances
* Investigating and resolving pay discrepancies with candidates and clients
* Producing reports and supporting the Payroll Manager
What we’re looking for
* Administrative experience, ideally within payroll or finance
* Strong attention to detail and organisation
* Confident communicator with good IT skills (Excel essential)
* Someone who takes ownership and delivers to deadlines
