Description
The Finance Business Partner will:
* Collaborate with senior leaders to align resources with strategic priorities, offering financial advice, modelling, and options appraisals.
* Challenge risky or unclear plans and work on solutions to improve efficiency and value.
* Lead financial assessments of major procurements, integrate asset strategies with financial planning, and support forecasting and strategic planning.
* Provide financial support to external partners and contribute to collaborative initiatives.
* Enhance financial literacy through training and provide insights at key meetings, ensuring coherence of financial plans and supporting inspections.
* Benchmark with other forces to share best practices.
* Drive continuous improvement, manage cost drivers, and develop financial systems.
* Support the Senior Finance Business Partner and deputize when necessary.
* Lead on financial policies, ensuring compliance with relevant authorities.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
* Be a qualified C.C.A.B. or CIMA accountant.
* Have recent experience in a finance business partnering role or demonstrate understanding of its outcomes.
* Be able to interpret complex legislation and policies to provide financial insights.
* Possess strong commercial acumen and the ability to advise and negotiate confidently with senior stakeholders.
* Have excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and IT literacy, especially in Excel and ERP systems.
* Be open to change, innovative, analytical, and a team player capable of working under pressure.
