An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic finance team dedicated to supporting the organisation’s strategic objectives. This role involves assisting with both financial and management accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and timelines. Key Responsibilities: Complete margin reports promptly, providing clear commentary Assist in preparing management accounts, including overhead analysis and balance sheet reconciliations Process daily bank transactions accurately Prepare and process sales invoices in collaboration with Sales and Finance teams Support financial reviews with budget holders, updating forecasts and challenging assumptions where necessary Build strong working relationships across Operations, Sales and other key departments Contribute to annual budgeting, cash forecasting and long-term business planning Assist with statutory accounts and year-end audit processes, ensuring timely delivery of required information Provide accurate financial and operational analysis to support decision-making Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and presentation abilities High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in finance or accounting roles Proficiency in financial systems and tools For more information on the role, please contact Ally Deas at Rutherford Cross.
