Location & Hours
Location: Exeter, Ipswich, Salford, Speke, or Wymondham - with remote working options available and occasional travel to the office required.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours is available; just let us know when you speak to us.

Your Responsibilities
As our Drainage and Water Design Manager, you’ll lead a talented team of 35 across multiple locations, managing a £3m portfolio of Drainage & Water services. Your day-to-day will include:
* Leading and nurturing design teams, fostering collaboration and mentorship
* Managing programmes, budgets, and risks across complex project portfolios
* Building and maintaining strategic client relationships to support growth
* Ensuring design outputs meet quality standards, regulations, and client expectations
* Driving innovation and improvement initiatives to enhance our capabilities
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Have experience leading and developing design teams with a supportive leadership style
* Are skilled in managing programmes, budgets, and risks in complex engineering projects
* Possess excellent relationship-building and communication skills
* Have delivered high-quality engineering solutions in Building & Development, Transportation, or Water sectors
* Hold a full UK driving licence and can travel to various team locations as needed
