Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, assisting in the diagnosis and treatment planning, and ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for all patients. Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health issues using clinical skills and medical imaging tools.
* Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, including restorative, cosmetic, and preventive procedures.
* Perform a wide range of dental treatments, including fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, crowns, and bridges.
* Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for designing restorations and prosthetics where applicable.
* Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with legal and professional standards.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health.
* Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other team members to ensure efficient practice operations.
* Keep up-to-date with advancements in dental techniques, materials, and technology to deliver the best possible care.
Skills
* Proven experience as a Dentist with a strong understanding of anatomy and oral structures.
* Proficiency in CAD software for designing dental restorations is desirable.
* Knowledge of medical imaging techniques such as X-rays is essential for accurate diagnosis.
* Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail to perform precise dental procedures.
* Strong communication skills to explain treatment options clearly and empathetically to patients.
* Ability to work effectively within a team whilst maintaining high standards of patient care.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to regulatory standards set by the GDC. Pay: £53,114.79-£152,313.35 per year
