What you’ll do:
* Design, build, and maintain DDI Automations: Develop robust automation solutions for DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management, ensuring scalability and reliability.
* Develop dashboards and alerting: Create and maintain dashboards and alerting mechanisms to monitor DDI automation health and performance.
* Champion engineering best practices: Establish and continuously improve development standards, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and monitoring tools.
* Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with development engineers, stakeholders, and customers to ensure automations are production-ready, stable, and aligned with business needs.
* Drive innovation: Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, proactively addressing challenges and optimizing workflows.
What you’ll need to succeed in the role:
* Automation & Container Orchestration: Proven expertise in building automation solutions and working with container orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
* DevOps Mindset: Strong track record in DevOps, including hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and observability tools.
* API & Gateway Experience: Solid understanding of REST API design principles and experience configuring API gateways (such as Kong).
* Python Development: Advanced Python programming skills are essential.
* Infrastructure as Code: Experience implementing Ansible pipelines is highly desirable.
* Version Control: Proficiency with distributed version control systems and repository hosting services (e.g., GitHub) is a must.
* Networking Fundamentals: Good grasp of IP addressing, subnetting, routing, DNS, and DHCP fundamentals.
* Problem-Solving & Communication: Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to support large-scale, mission-critical platforms.
* Growth Mindset: Eagerness to learn new skills, adapt to emerging technologies, and collaborate with colleagues to drive positive outcomes.
* DDI Platform Experience (Advantageous): Experience working with VitalQIP, Infoblox, or EfficientIP platforms is highly advantageous.
