As a Care Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering compassionate, person-centred care that supports independence, dignity, and quality of life. You'll be part of a friendly, supportive team that truly values the difference you make every day.
What We're Looking For:
We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds. What matters most is kindness, reliability, and a passion for care.
Preferred (but not essential):
* Experience working in a healthcare or care home setting.
* Care Certificate.
* QCF/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
If you don't hold these qualifications, don't worry – we will provide full training and support for your professional development.
Your Role:
* Deliver high-quality personal care (bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, toileting, etc.) in line with care plans.
* Support residents to remain active, independent, and engaged.
* Provide comfort, dignity, and compassion, including at end-of-life.
* Respond appropriately to challenging behaviour in a safe and professional way.
* Assist with day-to-day living, including laundry, mealtimes, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
* Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
* Support residents during outings and appointments.
* Maintain accurate, clear, and up-to-date records.
* Work flexibly within a rota of 6 or 12-hour shifts, with opportunities for overtime.
