About The Role
HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is required, and IT skills are preferred. You should communicate with residents and co-workers with kindness and consideration.
Your responsibilities include ensuring residents live in a well-maintained environment through proactive inspections, audits, and record-keeping. You will carry out repairs such as replacing taps, fitting extractor fans, repairing windows, or decorating, always maintaining a caring attitude.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond appropriately. Attendance at safeguarding training and ongoing education are required, along with the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
