Brook Community Primary School - A Small School on a Big Adventure -is looking for a Teaching Assistant and After-School Club Supervisor to join ourwonderful,dedicated team.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support across classes with a focus on children with SEN/D during the school day and run our After-School Club until 5.30pm.
This is a part-time position for two days a week (Thursday and Friday), term-time only, pro-rata. The hours are 8.45am until 3.15pm for the TA aspect and 3.30-5.30pm for the After-School Club supervisor aspect.
The ideal applicant will be passionate about providing inclusive, nurturing support so our pupils flourish, both academically and personally. Theyshould have a good understanding of child development and of how children learn, and be able to enthuse, engage and challenge children in their learning journey.
We are looking for a TA who understands the many benefits of working in a small, rural school, for example, our family ethos, but also has a good understanding of the challenges, such as mixed-age classes.
You must be prepared to work both indoors and outdoors in order to support learners in a range of environments as we make use of our beautiful surroundings.
