Building Services Director – Cambridgeshire
The role
The Building Services Director will lead the Cambridge building services team, delivering high-quality projects while growing client relationships and business opportunities. The role focuses on Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering expertise, team leadership, and promoting the client’s ethos and values.
Key responsibilities
* Lead and develop the Cambridge team through mentoring, performance reviews, and training
* Provide technical expertise across projects and ensure high standards of design quality
* Support Partners in resource planning, recruitment, and business strategy
* Drive business development and expand the client base
* Oversee team and project financial performance, ensuring targets are met
* Work collaboratively across disciplines to deliver integrated solutions
Essential experience
* Proven leadership in building services design teams
* Strong business development and client management skills
* Degree in a relevant discipline is desirable; MSc in Building Services is a plus
* Chartered Engineer (CEng) status through CIBSE or IMechE is preferred
* Full clean driving licence
* Demonstrable CPD in relevant subjects
