Beach Baker is delighted to be partnering with a leading commercial property consultancy to recruit a Rating Surveyor for their expanding Business Rates team in Bristol.

What You'll Be Doing
* Advise clients on business rates mitigation strategies.
* Inspect and value commercial properties for rating purposes.
* Negotiate with the Valuation Office Agency and Billing Authorities.
* Attend client meetings and support business development initiatives.
What We're Looking For
* MRICS qualified or actively working towards qualification.
* Experience in business rates valuation (private sector or VOA backgrounds welcome).
* Strong understanding of rating legislation and the Check, Challenge, Appeal process.
* Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
* Commercially aware, proactive, and a strong team player.
