Role
* Maintain and retain existing approvals including ISO9001, AS9100 and customer‑specific approvals
* Improve compliance with customer requirements across all relevant processes
* Lead internal, external and supplier audits
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across compliance systems
* Conduct compliance checks and approvals at customer enquiry and order stages
* Implement and maintain regulatory compliance systems (e.g. ethical sourcing, export requirements)
* Deliver training and raise awareness to support compliance with customer expectations
* Create and maintain documentation to evidence compliance
* Monitor associated processes to ensure ongoing conformity and suitability
Requirements
* Proven experience managing Quality processes (Essential)
* Proven experience in Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems and/or environments ()
* Strong document writing experience to support compliance systems
* Good understanding of engineering processes and technical specifications
* Demonstrable experience improving systems, with a focus on compliance management
* Proven team player with a collaborative approach
* Customer‑facing experience
* Proficient in Microsoft IT packages (Essential)
* Commercial and strategic awareness within manufacturing or a similar industry ()
* Excellent attention to detail (Essential)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Full UK driving licence (Essential)
* Ability and willingness to travel outside the UK
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 08:00–16:30 and Friday 08:00–13:00.
